Job Description

Overview Happy Time Preschool & Daycare, a ministry of Cedar Valley Church, is looking for passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals to join our team! At Happy Time, we provide a nurturing, positive, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive. Come be part of a team that helps children shine! Duties Assist with age-appropriate activities and learning experiences Supervise children during play, snacks, and daily routines Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom spaces Communicate positively and professionally with parents about their child's day Observe children and communicate any concerns to the appropriate staff Ensure classroom is ready for the lead teachers next morning Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or a related field preferred Understanding of early childhood development principles CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices preferred Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work flexible hours in the afternoons 16 years of age or older Genuine passion for working with children Join Our Team!
