Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in safe, structured after school activities Assist with homework help and academic support for school-age children Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe childcare environment Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavior management strategies Follow all childcare safety protocols and emergency procedures

Requirements:

Experience working with school-age children in a childcare, education, or camp setting Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with kids Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass a background check CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education or child development a plus
