Description Description A floater utility operator is a versatile and skilled employee who can operate all machines in the production line and fill in for other positions as needed. A floater utility operator is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the products, as well as maintaining asafe and clean work environment. A floater utility operator must have good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A floater utility operator must also be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform machine set-up, operation, and maintenance according to standard operating procedures Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during production Assist other operators and team members as required Follow safety rules and regulations at all times Report any incidents, accidents, or malfunctions to the supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work area Coordinating with other operators, technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure smooth operation of the facility or plant Requirements Proven experience in operating different machinery Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations for operating different machines Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality control Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments and schedules Why Stevens?
