Job Overview We are seeking energetic and passionate Child Care Professionals to join our team, caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This paid position offers CDA (Child Development Associate) training opportunities to help you grow your skills and advance your career in early childhood education. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning, development, and well-being for young children. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Provide attentive care that supports physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily activities Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws and health protocols such as first aid and CPR procedures Support early literacy and math education through age-appropriate activities and lessons Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment Experience Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Background in curriculum development and lesson planning for young learners Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Prior classroom experience with preschool-age children is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus; ongoing CDA training provided for professional growth
Pay:
$14.50 - $15.25 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
