Overview Join our team as a Childcare Center as our kitchen help! In this role, you will help with preparing meals, doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. You'll also maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by handling janitorial duties that ensure our facility remains clean and inviting. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the well-being and happiness of the children in our care. Hours Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 3:00 Duties Prepare and cook healthy, appealing meals tailored to young children's dietary needs, following approved menus and food safety standards Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and portioning. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by performing routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and waste disposal to ensure a hygienic environment Manage food handling procedures safely, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices to prevent contamination Support overall facility cleanliness by performing light cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, taking out trash) Experience Background in food service or restaurant environments provides valuable skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service Prior janitorial or custodial work experience is a plus for maintaining a clean facility environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and pay close attention to details.
