This position is located off campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK. Centenary is seeking a loving, dependable, and responsible Nursery Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for infants and toddlers during our worship services and events. The ideal candidate has a heart for children and a commitment to providing care.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and loving care to infants and toddlers (typically ages 0-4) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment Follow all church safety and check-in/check-out procedures Engage children in age-appropriate play, stories, and activities Communicate effectively with parents and guardians Work alongside volunteers or other staff as scheduled Report any incidents or concerns to appropriate staff Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Experience caring for young children (formal or informal) Warm, patient, and energetic personality CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must be at least 18 years old Pass a background check and provide references Punctual and reliable Must be available to work Wednesday evenings 5:30-8pm Deadline to Apply 10/15/2026 Our University Community We value the well-being of each of our employees and are dedicated to creating a healthy place for everyone to work, learn and live.
