Childcare Center Director Early Learning Childcare is hiring an experienced Childcare Center Director! We are looking for a dependable, organized, and confident leader who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to take ownership of the day-to-day success of a childcare center. This is a hands-on leadership position . Our Director will lead and support staff, build positive relationships with families, maintain licensing compliance, support enrollment, and ensure the center provides a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment for children. What You'll Do Lead, supervise, support, and hold staff accountable Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and retain employees Create staff schedules and maintain appropriate classroom coverage and ratios Monitor classroom quality and staff performance Maintain compliance with Kentucky childcare licensing requirements and company policies Manage enrollment inquiries, tours, follow-ups, and family relationships Address parent and staff questions or concerns professionally Maintain required child, staff, licensing, and center documentation Monitor enrollment, attendance, staffing, and classroom capacity Support CACFP, Health Department, and other applicable requirements Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming center Plan and support center events and family engagement activities Communicate regularly with company leadership Step into classrooms and assist with center operations when needed Required Qualifications Previous management or supervisory experience is

Applicants must also meet Kentucky licensing requirements to serve as the Director of a Type I Child Care Center. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and meet at least one of Kentucky's qualifying education/experience pathways, which may include: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a Child Development field Master's or Bachelor's degree in another field with required child development training Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and Development Associate degree in another field with required child development training and qualifying childcare experience Director's Credential in Early Childhood Development with qualifying childcare experience Child Development Associate (CDA) with qualifying childcare experience At least 3 years of verifiable full-time paid experience working directly with children in a qualifying childcare, early childhood, or school-based program Applicants must also be able to meet all applicable Kentucky background check, health, training, and professional development requirements.
