Competitive salary Paid time off Training & development A warm and welcoming family in Andover, MA is seeking a part-time, long-term nanny to care primarily for their two-month-old infant. They are looking for a caring, dependable, and safety-minded caregiver who is experienced with infants and enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging environment. The primary responsibility of this role will be caring for the baby throughout the day, including following her feeding routine and supporting her development through age-appropriate activities. The family's three-year-old child attends daycare and will occasionally be home during school closures or holidays, at which time the nanny may provide care for both children. Requirements At least 21 years old Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience required Prior infant experience required Current CPR / First Aid certification required Non-smoker Up to date on COVID, Tdap, and annual flu vaccinations Warm, dependable, punctual, and safety-minded Comfortable around dogs and happy to have them as part of the household Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive, and age-appropriate care for the infant Follow the infant's feeding routine, including bottle preparation and feeding instructions Support infant development through tummy time, music, reading, play, and stroller walks Provide occasional care for the older child during daycare closures or school holidays Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children Wash bottles and dishes related to childcare Complete basic cleanup after activities Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment About the Family This family is looking for a nanny who will become a trusted, long-term part of their household. They value kindness, reliability, safety, and someone who is warm, attentive, and responsive to their children's needs. The family has two friendly French Bulldogs who are an important part of the household. No pet care is required, but the nanny should be comfortable around dogs and enjoy having them present throughout the day. The nanny will have autonomy throughout the day and should feel comfortable independently managing the infant's routine and activities. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is caring, responsible, and confident caring for an infant. They are attentive to details, comfortable following specific routines, and prioritize safety while creating a calm and engaging environment. The nanny should feel comfortable following the baby's feeding instructions and supporting her individual needs. The baby currently has GERD and requires thickened formula and being kept upright after feedings, so experience with or comfort following specialized infant care routines is helpful. Otherwise, she is a happy, healthy baby who is doing very well and enjoys tummy time and music. A nanny who is dependable, nurturing, and excited to build a long-term relationship with the family will thrive in this role.

Monday and Thursday, 8:00 AM-7:00
PM Guaranteed Hours:
22 hours per week

Position Type:
Part-time, One year commitment
Hourly Rate:
$35-$37/hour, based on experience; taxes withheld
Driving:
Driving is not required.
Vacation:
2 weeks paid (44 hours) (1 week preferably aligns with the family)
Sick Time:
1 week paid (22 hours)
Paid Holidays:
Paid holidays that fall on regularly scheduled workdays
