Job Description
A thoughtful Cambridge mom is searching for a full time nanny to begin in early October. The baby will be 2.5 months old when this position begins. There is also a small dog in the home who mom would love to have join on walks with the nanny and baby. The schedule for this position is M-F 12pm-6pm for a guarantee of 30 hours/week. The ability to flex up on occasion would be appreciated. The ability to cover some overnights if needed would be amazing but is not required. Duties of this baby-centric role include all aspects of thoughtful infant care, planning developmentally appropriate activities, spending time outdoors as often as possible, bottle preparation and sterilization, supporting and establishing a healthy eat/sleep/play schedule, child laundry, running the dishwasher as time permits, keeping the nursery and play areas tidy and stocked, and general tidying throughout the day. This role includes working independently and collaborating closely with mom. Best matches are patient, kind, knowledgeable, intuitive, and communicative. Mom will be working from home and will pop in and out throughout the afternoon. The ability to travel approximately 6-8 weeks per year is strongly preferred. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and open to receiving additional COVID boosters as applicable.
