This role offers an exciting opportunity to nurture a young child's growth and development while ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and experienced in caring for young children, including those with special needs or disabilities. You will play a vital role in creating a positive, enriching environment that promotes learning, safety, and happiness. Duties Provide attentive supervision and engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of the toddler Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for a young child's dietary requirements Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times Support early childhood development through educational play, reading, and teaching basic skills Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping tasks and light cleaning as needed Administer first aid and CPR in case of emergencies, ensuring the child's safety at all times Assist with transportation to activities or appointments using personal transportation when necessary Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing personalized caregiving strategies Requirements Proven experience working with children, especially toddlers, including private home childcare or daycare experience Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for nurturing children's growth Valid personal transportation assistance capabilities to support outings or appointments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and caregiving needs Join us in making a meaningful difference in a child's life!
