COME AND JOIN OUR A MAZING TEAM AT THE SAUGUS YMCA!
Child Watch•
Saugus YMCA Position Hours Needed:
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat:
8:15AM•11:45
AM Tues:
4PM•7PM Additional hours available if interested in teaching youth enrichment classes such as arts and crafts, youth sports, music & movement, dance, etc.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for working in the Child watch room during hours of operation. Everyday duties could include planning crafts for older children, playing pretend with younger children, coloring, reading, etc. Provides communication with parents/guardians about pertinent child watch room information. Awareness and adherence to all program policies and procedures as outlined in employee handbook Maintains program room and equipment. Manages a clean room and toys on a weekly basis. Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff trainings at the Saugus Y facility.
Qualifications:
At least 16 years of age. Childcare or Babysitting experience is preferred. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 3 months of hire. (Training provided if needed) Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date. (Training provided)
