Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Part-Time Nanny to provide after-school care and life skills support for children in a private home setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a nurturing environment, promote independence, and support children's developmental needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic about engaging children in educational and recreational activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position is perfect for someone passionate about childcare, with a focus on creating a positive, enriching experience for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and engagement in age-appropriate activities Assist with homework help and educational exercises to promote learning and development Prepare nutritious snacks and meals tailored to children's dietary needs Support children in developing life skills such as organization, responsibility, and social interaction Engage children in creative play, outdoor activities, and age-specific learning experiences Perform light household tasks including cleaning up after activities, tidying play areas, and residential housekeeping as needed Provide personal transportation assistance to school, extracurricular activities, or appointments when required Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of minor injuries or emergencies Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Prior nannying or private home childcare experience preferred; experience with multiple children is a plus Knowledge of childcare best practices, child development milestones, and safety protocols Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is highly desirable Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children using safe food handling practices Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers Reliable personal transportation for school runs or activity pickups Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing, engaging environment that promotes learning and growth Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing exceptional care that combines safety, education, and fun! Pay:
