As a Child Care Specialist, you'll have the remarkable chance to contribute directly to the growth of young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is an entry-level role and does not require prior certification; we provide complete training for this position. Responsibilities Offer one-on-one support to children aged 2-6 in a clinic environment, guided by science-backed, naturalistic therapeutic methods Implement intervention plans crafted by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech, and occupational therapy Team up with the child's healthcare professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification) Previous experience with children aged 2-6, ideally in a professional capacity Ability to achieve and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training)

Punctuality is essential Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client Preference for college graduates or people pursuing a college degree What We Offer $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
