Part-Time Family Assistant - Tuesday, Thursday & Friday Mornings We are looking for a reliable, warm, and responsible part-time Family Assistant to help our family on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings starting at 7 am. We have three children, ages 8 months, 3 years, and 7 years old . Parents will be home and actively involved. We are looking for an extra set of hands to make our busy school mornings run more smoothly. Responsibilities Help parents get the children ready for school/daycare Assist with breakfast and morning routines Clean up after breakfast Empty/load dishwasher Walk our 7-year-old approximately 5 minutes to school General light household assistance, family has separate cleaners Schedule Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings starting at 7 am Approximately 6-9 hours per week depending on family needs- more hours can be add if willing to help with meal preparation and laundry Guaranteed minimum hours Consistent, predictable schedule Ideal Candidate Reliable and punctual Warm and comfortable around young children Responsible and able to work independently Comfortable helping with light household tasks No extensive nanny experience required; we value maturity, dependability, and a positive attitude CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be willing and able to pass a background check Reliable transportation to our home- please note we are on the RideOn bus 30 line but we not in downtown Bethesda so having your own car is preferred Ability to commit to the agreed-upon weekly schedule This is a great position for someone looking for a small, consistent part-time job while working or attending school. Parents will be home, and the role is primarily to provide an extra set of hands during our busy mornings.
