Job Description

The Cumberland-North Yarmouth Recreation Department is looking for after school childcare staff. Our childcare staff members are responsible for assistance in the programming and supervision of school aged children grades kindergarten through 5th grade in the Mabel Wilson school and Greely Middle school during the school year. The after school childcare staff will help plan and implement program activities for our kindergarten program, our grades 1 through 3 program and our grades 4 and 5 program. Staff members will ensure each child's personal safety while providing entertainment, physical activities and learning experiences for all grades. After school childcare staff works closely with, and reports to the After School Program Director to ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the department.
Program Dates:
August 31, 2026 - June 15, 2026 (no program during snow days or holidays)
School Day Work Hours:
