Job Description
CareNest Nanny Agency is seeking an experienced, caring, and dependable full-time nanny for a wonderful family in Ellicott City, MD. This position is for the care of one bright, active 5-year-old boy. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, reliable, and enjoys creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Schedule Monday-Friday Morning start between 6:30-7:15 AM School drop-off each morning Return around midday for light housekeeping and simple meal preparation Afternoon school pick-up End of day between 5:00-6:00 PM (varies) Occasional weekend help (approximately every 6-8 weeks) Occasional transportation to swim lessons Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving, and engaging care Plan educational and age-appropriate activities Transport child safely to and from school and activities Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks Perform light housekeeping related to the child Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Encourage learning, independence, and positive behavior Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny or childcare experience Experience working with neurodivergent children is highly preferred Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Clean driving record CPR and First Aid Certification Non-smoker Patient, dependable, punctual, and energetic Excellent professional references Authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete a background check •Additional Information No pets in the home English is required; Hindi language skills are a plus but not required.
