Monsignor Slade Edu-Care Center is currently seeking teachers and aides for our before- and after-school child care program. During the school year, hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summer hours are flexible, with the program operating from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will not only be qualified and experienced but also caring, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about working with children. Essential Functions Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities for children in the classroom or assigned group. Attend staff and parent meetings as needed. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Provide continuous visual and auditory supervision to ensure the safety of children in the classroom, on the playground, and during field trips. Maintain appropriate and professional communication with families. Participate in required and recommended training programs and workshops, including CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Emergency Preparedness, Orientation, and Communication. Position Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification. Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred. An appreciation for young students and their families. Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools. Must meet all requirements established by the MSDE Office of Child Care.
