Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and proactive Live-in Nanny with meal preparation expertise to provide exceptional care and support in a private home setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to create a nurturing environment for children while ensuring the household runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include caring for children of various ages, preparing nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and organized home, and assisting with daily routines. Duties Provide attentive, loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences Engage children in educational activities, playtime, outings, and developmental exercises suitable for their age groups Maintain a clean and organized household through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up shared spaces Assist with personal transportation needs for children to attend activities or appointments Proactively identify household or childcare needs and address them efficiently without prompting Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing appropriate caregiving strategies and following care plans Follow all safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures; keep certifications current to ensure readiness in emergencies Experience Proven nanny experience working with multiple children across different age groups, including infants and toddlers Extensive background in private home childcare or nannying within residential settings Experience preparing nutritious meals for children of various ages; familiarity with meal planning and dietary restrictions preferred Prior work involving children with disabilities or special needs; understanding of inclusive caregiving practices Hands-on experience in daycare or preschool environments; knowledge of early childhood development principles Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred to stay current Demonstrated ability to work independently with proactive thinking to anticipate family needs and respond swiftly This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while supporting a busy household.
