Job Summary Join our childcare team as a Floater, where your energetic and adaptable nature will shine! You will provide flexible support across our infant- school age classroom settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of different ages. We need someone with positive energy and helpful work ethic! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your experience in early childhood education while making a positive impact on young lives. Responsibilities Support classroom activities by assisting teachers with child supervision, playtime, and educational tasks Provide care and attention to children during meals, naps, and transitions throughout the day Help implement age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on childhood development and learning milestones Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, including first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily experiences and developmental progress Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance strategies to promote positive social interactions Support the overall cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas to ensure a hygienic setting for children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), health and safety training,and mandated reporting training is required Fingerprinting through DHHS required Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to remain energetic, flexible, and attentive in a fast-paced environment Passion for early childhood education, caregiving, and supporting young children's growth to help them have days full of smiles and laughter!
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
