Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Childcare Staff to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive interaction. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, creativity, and learning Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and any concerns Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with disabilities or special needs Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills coupled with patience and positive behavior management techniques Ability to engage children in educational activities while ensuring their safety at all times Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members Join us in creating a vibrant environment where children thrive!
