ASAP Position Overview A family in Clarkston, Michigan is seeking an experienced, full-time nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for their infant son, who will be approximately three and a half months old at the start date. This is the family's first child, and they are looking for a seasoned infant caregiver who is warm, calm, and proactive, and who takes genuine pleasure in the daily rhythms of caring for a baby. This is a live-out position with a consistent weekday schedule and a long-term outlook. The family hopes to find someone who will grow with their son over the years and become a trusted, dependable presence in the household. There is a large dog in the home, so candidates should be comfortable around dogs. Benefits Guaranteed hours per week Consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend requirement Private on-site parking provided No driving responsibilities Responsibilities Provide full-charge care for one infant during scheduled hours Maintain and support age-appropriate feeding, napping, and daily routines Prepare bottles and, as the child grows, age-appropriate meals and snacks Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, tummy time, reading, and sensory activities Handle all infant-related laundry, bottle washing and sterilizing, and tidying of the nursery and play areas Track and communicate daily logs covering feeding, sleep, diapering, and milestones Manage diapering and all personal care needs Monitor and restock nursery supplies, alerting the family when items are needed Take the child on stroller walks and outings within walking distance of the home Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in all child-related spaces Communicate openly and regularly with the parents regarding the child's day and needs Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience, with demonstrated experience caring for infants under one year of age Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain before start date Must be able to provide 3-5 professional references Comfortable in a home with a large dog Legally authorized to work in the United States Reliable, punctual, and committed to a long-term placement Strong communication skills and comfort with daily parent updates
