Job Description Overview The ideal candidate has high, dynamic energy and readily engages our kids and families daily. On a day to day, they work in our Kids Club which is an interactive play center offered to Club Members to supervise their children ages 1 year to 8 years old. On a broader basis, the attendant will be part of all family and kid events for the 6-12-year olds to major Holiday events where we serve 600-1,400 members. The ideal candidate has flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. What You'll Be Doing May include, but not limited to: Maintain active focus on all children, providing caring, energetic attention and consistent direction. Communicate clearly and supportively with parents regarding children's needs, behavior, and related issues. Complete daily/weekly/monthly programs and activities planned for each level of childcare as defined for various programs. Accurately complete procedures for registration, daily sign-in/out, cleanliness, and safety. Clean and sanitize toys, equipment, and furniture within the childcare areas. Provide feedback to management about improvements that could be made regarding programming, planning, organizing, and policies. Work as a team member to provide a high level of service to members. Attend all required meetings and staff training. SMILE and provide a positive environment for all members, staff, and guests. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. What You Need For This Position Must enjoy working with children of all ages. Must have flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be CPR/Child Infant and CPR/AED certified or must obtain certification upon hire. Yearly Background Check Must be able to lift moderate weight (50-60 lbs) Must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time.
