Child Care Aide (Part Time) Step By Step Pre-School Arrowwood Elementary School STCS Community Services
DISTRICT OVERVIEW
Saginaw Township Schools is located in a multi-cultural and vibrant community in mid-Michigan. We are proud to have 'National School to Watch' and 'Blue Ribbon Award' winning schools.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Community Education is seeking an individual who is interested in being a Child Care Aide for Step By Step Pre-School at Arrowwood Elementary . This position is in-person, daily, Monday
  • Friday from 2:00pm
  • 6:00pm during the school-year (August
  • May).
Summer hours may be offered depending on departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a caring environment built upon respect and safety Interact with children during program activities Ensure room is ready for day care use Daily interaction with students and parents
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work cooperatively with all employees, students, and parents Experience working with young school age children Willingness to uphold all district policies and procedures for staff and students. Excellent attendance record
Schedule and Compensation:
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 2:00pm
  • 6:00 pm, during the School Year (Aug-May) Pursuant to the Childcare collective bargaining agreement the hourly rate of pay is $13.
77 per hour.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which may include bending, twisting, reaching, pushing or pulling, lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to approximately 40 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods of time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
