Applicant must be able to work Monday-Friday and wiling to work with a flexible schedule as needed. Applicant may not always be needed each day. Must be able to work until closing hours. We close at 6pm. Position is part time. Main hours will be 2:30-CLOSE but may need applicant here to give lunch breaks on occasions. Applicant is willing to work with all age groups from 0-12. However, applicant will work mainly with older kids or preschoolers. Applicant is able to get down on child's level and help children socialize and problem solve along with other skills. Applicant is able to hold conversations with children, play with them, sit on their level. Applicant is willing to help assist the Lead Teacher and/or other assistants in activities as needed to help ensure the safety of children and follow protocols. Applicant is willing to communicate with families in a positive manner. Applicant is able to follow cleaning protocols as needed. Professional Development hours will be done every year. CPR and First Aide will be needed. If applicant does not have certification Employer will send to class to become certified. Applicant is willing to learn the State Licensing Rules and follow them. Background check required. Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
