Part-Time/Full-Time Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Childcare Aide to support our teachers in creating a safe and fun learning environment for children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, is patient, and can assist with daily activities, classroom management, and care routines.Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities. Help set up and clean up classroom materials and play areas. Support children with meals, snacks, and personal care routines (diapering, toileting, handwashing). Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety guidelines. Provide positive interactions and encouragement to support children's learning and social development. Communicate with teachers and staff to support the daily needs of children. Follow center policies and licensing regulations to maintain a safe and structured environment.Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old (or meet Minnesota state requirements). Experience working with children is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in activities on the floor with children. Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn. A passion for working with children and helping them grow. Must pass a background check and meet Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing requirements.Certifications:
Current First Aid and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.Benefits:
