In this role, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love for learning. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in line with early childhood education standards Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly and appropriately Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary to address minor injuries or health issues Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care based on their requirements Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful interactions and self-regulation skills Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous Classroom management skills to maintain a safe and structured environment Familiarity with child supervision techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood or Pediatric First Aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children is desirable Join us in creating a joyful, supportive space where children can thrive!
