Job Description
Private Family Live-In Nanny We are a private family seeking an exceptional full-time, live-in nanny to join our household. We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy, highly dependable, and professional who can provide attentive childcare while becoming a valued and consistent presence in our children's lives. This is a long-term position for someone who understands the importance of discretion, flexibility, and privacy when working within a private household. The Role The nanny's primary responsibility will be providing a safe, nurturing, structured, and enjoyable environment for our children. Responsibilities will include managing children's daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, simple cleaning, laundry/dishes and organization, transportation to activities and appointments, planning age-appropriate activities and outings, and assisting with other child-related needs. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, family travel, and schedule changes may occasionally be required and will be communicated whenever possible. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Warm, patient, nurturing, and genuinely loves children Extremely trustworthy and discreet Reliable, organized, proactive, and able to work independently Comfortable working within a private family environment Flexible and able to adapt as schedules change A confident and safe driver Respectful of family boundaries and confidentiality Previous professional nanny or private household experience is strongly preferred. Excellent references and a background check will be required. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Live-In Arrangement & Compensation Private accommodations will be provided. Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience, qualifications, availability, and the overall responsibilities of the position.
