A warm and welcoming family in North Raleigh is seeking a loving, nurturing, and experienced full-time nanny to care primarily for their sweet 3-month-old daughter beginning August 24th (or slightly sooner if available). Their baby girl is smiley, enjoys being held, and is beginning to settle into her daily routines. The family is looking for someone with prior infant experience who can confidently help guide her through important developmental transitions, including establishing healthy nap routines and introducing solids when the time comes. They value a caregiver who is engaging, attentive, and focused on providing loving, responsive care during these early months. The family also has a fun-loving 2-year-old who attends preschool and spends afternoons with nearby grandparents. Only on rare occasions, such as if grandparents are unavailable due to illness or travel, would the nanny be responsible for both children. Both parents work from home, with Mom home full-time and Dad home several days each week. They have dedicated office spaces and make every effort to give the nanny and baby plenty of independence throughout the day. The home offers ample room to spread out, including a dedicated nursery, playroom, backyard, and multiple living spaces. During the baby's naps, responsibilities will remain child-focused and include preparing baby meals as solids are introduced, keeping up with the baby's laundry, and tidying child-related items. No household management or non-child-related duties are expected. The family also has a friendly, low-key dog who enjoys attention when first meeting new people but otherwise relaxes throughout the day. Applicants should be comfortable around dogs.
