Both parents work from home and may be in and out during the day, so we are looking for someone comfortable working in a shared space while supporting our child's routine. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, patient, and organized individual to assist with our child's homeschooling and help maintain a smooth daily routine. This role includes 60% childcare and 40% light household support. The ideal candidate is engaging, proactive, and comfortable following a structured day. Key Responsibilities Childcare & Routine Support Assist with homeschooling and virtual learning, ensuring assignments are completed Provide guidance, encouragement, and basic academic support Help maintain a consistent daily routine and schedule Engage in educational and creative activities Prepare simple meals and snacks Household Support (Light) Light laundry Tidying and basic organization Keeping common areas neat Qualifications Experience with school-age children (ages 8-12 preferred) Comfortable supporting homeschooling or virtual learning Patient, reliable, and trustworthy Organized and able to follow a routine Strong communication skills Comfortable working in a home where parents are present Ideal Candidate Calm and nurturing Consistent and dependable Creative and engaging Proactive without needing constant direction Comfortable with structure and routine Compensation $18-$23 per hour based on experience How to
