Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-in Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for children in a private home setting. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and feel loved. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and passionate about childcare, with experience managing the needs of children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. As a Live-in Nanny, you will be an integral part of the family's daily routine, ensuring safety, engaging children in educational activities, and assisting with household tasks related to childcare. Duties Provide attentive and loving care for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diapering for younger children Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures to promote development and learning Manage household chores related to childcare such as cleaning children's rooms, laundry, organizing toys, and maintaining a tidy environment Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and working closely with families or specialists Provide transportation assistance for school drop-offs/pick-ups or extracurricular activities when needed Administer basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies and maintain safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, daycare work or private home childcare experience Demonstrated ability to care for infants and toddlers with patience and compassion Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong skills in meal preparation, caregiving, residential housekeeping related to childcare duties, and child development teaching methods Ability to handle multiple children simultaneously while maintaining a calm demeanor Personal transportation assistance capability for school runs or outings is preferred Excellent communication skills with both children and parents; reliable and trustworthy nature This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while enjoying the comfort of living on-site.
