In person About the Position We are seeking for a friendly, organized, and confident Part-Time Lead Assistant to work alongside the Center Director and help lead the daily operations of our Kumon Center. Responsibilities Support students in Math and Reading Manage daily class flow and coordinate the center team Manage staff and coordinate daily responsibilities Cover classes and oversee center operations in the Director's absence Interact professionally and confidently with parents Assist with placement testing Maintain student records and test lists Grade students assignments using our digital platform Manage inventory and supplies Help maintain a positive and organized learning environment Qualifications Must be available during the set schedule Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong in Math and Reading skills. Comfortable helping students at different levels Comfortable using technology (laptop, tablet, etc.) social media platforms, and basic digital tools Excellent time management skills and punctuality Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with children and families Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team Takes initiative and demonstrates leadership Tutoring, teaching, childcare, or customer-service experience is a plus This is great opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills in education, team management, student support, parent communication, and center operations.
