Chasing Connections is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Part-Time Nanny for a wonderful family in Metuchen, NJ with two children, ages 6 months and 2 years old. The ideal candidate genuinely loves working with young children and is confident caring for both an infant and toddler. The family is looking for someone nurturing, patient, dependable, and engaging who can independently manage both children's daily routines while creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00

PM Hours:

30 hours per week

Pay:

$20-$25/hour, depending on experience

October 5, with a paid trial beforehand

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and nurturing care for both children Plan age-appropriate activities, play, and developmental engagement Assist with meals and feeding Diaper changes and general infant care Support the toddler with potty training Maintain consistent nap and daily routines Light tidying and organization related to the children Mom works from home and exclusively breastfeeds the 6-month-old, so she will be available for feedings throughout the day. The nanny must be comfortable working in a home with a parent present while confidently taking the lead on the children's care and routine.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation 5+ years of professional childcare experience preferred Strong infant and toddler experience Comfortable caring for two young children simultaneously Experience with diapering and toddler potty training CPR/First Aid certification preferred Non-smoker Excellent, verifiable professional references Dependable, communicative, patient, and genuinely caring The family is hoping to find someone long-term who will form a strong bond with their children and become a trusted and consistent part of their family.
