Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Co-Director(Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30) to lead our early childhood education and childcare programs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster strong relationships with families. You will be working with a co-director who manages the enrollment and registration. Having co-directors gives us the ability to divide the work equally between both directors. Person must have a bachelors degree and at least one year of experience as a director or assistant director Duties Manage daily center operations, including staff scheduling, curriculum implementation, and classroom oversight Lead, motivate, and support a team of teachers, caregivers, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality childcare services Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health regulations, safety protocols, including first aid and pediatric CPR certifications Foster positive communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, meetings, and responsive support Oversee classroom management strategies to promote behavior management, social-emotional growth, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings; preschool or daycare center experience preferred Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management, behavior management techniques, and caregiving best practices Certification in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and familiarity with mandated reporting laws Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team leadership Ability to supervise children safely while fostering a nurturing environment Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing staff in a childcare or educational setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles, infant care techniques, toddler care strategies, and classroom experience Join us in creating a vibrant environment where children thrive!
