Child A (9 months old): This sweet baby girl is playful and calm. She is beginning to become very chatty and is already an expressive and communicative little one. She loves books, playing, and interacting with the people around her. Her name represents "tranquility," which her family feels describes her perfectly! You are a clean, tidy, nurturing, and attentive infant caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending your days interacting and playing with a baby. You understand that childcare and meeting the baby's needs always come first, with child-related household responsibilities reserved primarily for nap times. You are safety-conscious and have excellent situational awareness, particularly when walking with a baby through town or to activities. You are comfortable working alongside a mom who works from home and appreciate developing a collaborative relationship while respecting each other's roles throughout the day. You are fluent in English. Speaking Gujarati or Hindi is a wonderful bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for a 9-month-old baby Meet all of the baby's daily needs, with childcare remaining the top priority Maintain and support the baby's established nap schedule Engage the baby through books, conversation, play, and age-appropriate developmental activities Encourage the baby's emerging communication and language skills through regular interaction and narration Take walks with the baby and walk her to story time at the local library Maintain excellent safety awareness while out in the community Work collaboratively with Mom around the baby's feeding routine and schedule Support preparation of the baby's lunch and dinner as needed During the baby's naps: Complete the child's laundry Tidy play areas and spaces used throughout the day Assist with preparation of the child's lunch and dinner
Important Notes:
Mom works remotely from home and will also be in and out of the house for errands throughout the day. Mom remains involved with the baby's food preparation and will share this responsibility with the nanny. The family wants their nanny to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home in their space. There are no pets in the home. A personal vehicle is not required. Swimming is not required.
