On-the-books employment with guaranteed hours based on the mutually agreed-upon schedule Position Overview A family in Princeton, NJ is seeking an experienced Live-Out Temporary Infant Nanny to provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for their infant. This temporary placement will run from January 4, 2027 through early March 2027. The Caregiver's primary responsibility will be the family's infant. The family has two older children who may interact with the Caregiver and baby after school but are not part of the Caregiver's primary childcare responsibilities. The family follows a Montessori-inspired, screen-free approach that encourages independence, creative play, problem-solving, and learning through everyday activities. The Caregiver should be proactive in suggesting developmentally appropriate activities while maintaining the family's established routines, boundaries, and safety expectations. Schedule & Flexibility The regular schedule will be: Monday-Friday, approximately 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The Client has flexibility to offer additional hours, including approximately 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. The Client may also consider a Monday-Thursday schedule with Fridays off. Driving is not required for Temporary Placement #1. Compensation & Benefits $30-$41 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Guaranteed hours will be established based on the mutually agreed-upon schedule Federal holiday pay will be provided Applicable sick leave and other employment terms will be established in the Client/Caregiver employment agreement On-the-books employment required Childcare Responsibilities The Caregiver's primary responsibility will be providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care for the infant.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate infant care Supporting age-appropriate feeding, sleeping, play, and daily routines Planning enrichment activities, including reading, music, sensory and developmental play, walks, and creative activities Preparing healthy, age-appropriate meals for the baby, feeding the baby, and cleaning up afterward Completing the baby's laundry Maintaining the baby's room, toys, and play areas Communicating with the Client regarding the baby's routines, activities, development, and care needs Family & Caregiving Philosophy The family follows a Montessori-inspired, screen-free approach that encourages: Independence Creative play Problem-solving Learning through everyday activities Developmentally appropriate enrichment The Caregiver should be proactive in suggesting appropriate activities while following the family's established routines, boundaries, and safety expectations. Ideal Candidate The ideal Temporary Infant Nanny will be: Proactive and creative Dependable and communicative Adaptable Knowledgeable about infant development and safety Experienced in professional newborn and infant care Comfortable working within the family's established routines and caregiving philosophy Household Details One large, friendly senior Goldendoodle in the home Candidate must be comfortable working in a home with a dog Driving is not required for this placement No relocation needed Candidate Requirements Minimum of 5 years of professional infant care experience Significant professional experience caring for newborns and young infants Must be knowledgeable about infant development and safety Must be willing to complete a background check Must be comfortable working in a home with one large, friendly senior Goldendoodle Annual flu vaccine required MMR vaccine required Tdap vaccine required Must be authorized to work in the United States No employment sponsorship available Must be comfortable with on-the-books employment
