Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant Tenafly, NJ | Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week | $28-$35/hour Position Summary A busy family in Tenafly, NJ is seeking a warm, experienced, and team-oriented Full-Time Nanny to join their well-staffed household.

Long-term position The family is looking for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative household team and is comfortable moving between driving, childcare, and general support throughout the afternoon and evening. About the Family The household includes Mom, Dad, and five children ages 11, 9, 7, 5, and 2 . Mom does not work outside the home but maintains a very busy schedule with social, family, and other commitments. All five children attend school full day.

The family already employs:

A full-time live-in nanny who works Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-7:00 PM A full-time housekeeper who works approximately 8:00 AM-4:00 PM A weekend nanny A weekend housekeeper This new nanny will become an additional member of the household team and will work closely with the live-in nanny and Mom. Responsibilities The role will primarily involve moving between house management responsibilities during the earlier part of the shift, to childcare responsibilities and include driving the children to and from activities and working hand in hand. with other staff members to care for the children.

Responsibilities include:

While the children are still in school, running errands for the family and other family assistant related tasks Driving children to and from after-school sports, activities, appointments, and other locations Supervising and engaging with children at home Providing age-appropriate activities and companionship Preparing snacks for the children Occasionally preparing simple meals Helping with the children's afternoon and evening routines Working closely with the live-in nanny to divide responsibilities and ensure all children are cared for Helping keep child-related areas organized and running smoothly Pitching in where needed as part of a collaborative household team Because there are several children with overlapping schedules, the right person will be comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day and communicating closely with the other nanny and Mom.
