In this vital role, you will manage daily operations of the childcare center, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster positive relationships with families and staff. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to supporting children's growth, development, and well-being through engaging activities and high-quality care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while maintaining a vibrant, organized, and compliant childcare setting. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance in classroom management, child development instruction, and behavior management strategies. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, preschool learning, toddler care, and infant care. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child supervision standards. Foster strong communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and responsive support regarding their child's progress and needs. Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development in areas such as special education and working with individuals with disabilities. Maintain a safe environment by conducting routine safety checks, managing classroom supplies, and ensuring adherence to health protocols. Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Demonstrated classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings; previous daycare center experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles coupled with child supervision skills necessary for nurturing young learners. Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid certification is a plus. Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is desirable.
