The family currently has three young children ranging from toddler to early elementary school age and is expecting a new baby later this year. The family is specifically seeking a nanny who has strong experience caring for multiple young children (3 or more children under the age of 7) at the same time. As the household will soon include four children under the age of seven, the nanny must be capable, confident and comfortable independently managing several children for extended periods of time, particularly infants and toddlers. The older children attend school most mornings, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on the youngest child during that time. At other times, however, the nanny will be responsible for helping care for all of the children together and should be comfortable balancing different ages, routines, activities and needs. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys creating fun and engaging experiences for children while also providing structure, consistency and a calm, organized environment. The family is looking for someone who takes pride in her work, is dependable and proactive, and is interested in developing a long-term relationship with the family.
Salary:
$65,000 annually, plus annual discretionary bonus and full benefits
