Part-Time (16 Guaranteed Hours/Week) | 2-3 Days Per Week (No Fridays) About the Role Jovie of Las Vegas is seeking a caring, attentive, and reliable nanny to support a wonderful, active family preparing for the transition to two children under two. This position offers a steady, long-term part-time schedule with guaranteed hours starting after the newborn arrives in late fall. The ideal candidate thrives in a home environment focused on early childhood development, enjoys hands-on play, and feels confident managing a toddler alongside a newborn.

Key Responsibilities Childcare & Engagement:

Provide interactive, low-stimulation care for a walking toddler and newborn. Support developmentally appropriate play, music, outdoor time, and baby-led activities.

Routine Management:

Follow established nap schedules (including gentle wind-down routines) and age-appropriate feeding practices (self-feeding, open/straw cup guidance).

Positive Redirection:

Apply gentle, positive guidance ("soft touches," calm redirection) in alignment with the parents' approach.

Child-Related Helper Tasks:

Maintain clean and organized play spaces, assist with toddler laundry during nap times, and occasionally help prepare simple family dinners on longer shift days. Candidate Qualifications 2 years +

Infant & Toddler Experience:

Strong background in infant and toddler care, with demonstrated ability to manage two young children simultaneously (daycare experience or multi-child nanny experience is a strong plus). 3-5 professional childcare references

Pet Friendly:

Comfort working around friendly, high-energy dogs in the home. Reliable vehicle with a clean driver's record

Long-Term Availability:

Looking for a candidate who can commit to the family for a minimum of 1 to 2 years. CPR and FA certified

Reliability & Communication:

Trustworthy, empathetic, and communicative, with a clear focus on safety and family values.
