Jovie of Reno-Tahoe is hiring dependable, experienced nannies and babysitters to work with local families. You will care for infants through school-age children and choose from available assignments that fit your availability. This is a W-2 position - not a 1099 gig job. What You Get $17-$25 per hour Flexible scheduling W-2 employment Bi-weekly direct deposit Paid onboarding and professional development App-based scheduling and support from a local Jovie team Opportunities for recurring assignments Mileage reimbursement for jobs requiring travel more than 25 miles one way What You'll Do Provide safe, engaging care for children Play games, read, do crafts, and lead age-appropriate activities Prepare simple meals and snacks Assist with bottles, diapering, naps, and routines as needed Follow parent instructions and household routines Communicate professionally with families and the Jovie team What We're Looking For Be 18 years of age or older Have 2+ years of experience working with children Have experience independently caring for children Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record Be able to pass an MVR screening and comprehensive background check Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification Be dependable, communicative, and comfortable working with different families Relevant experience may include nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, teaching, classroom support, camps, or similar hands-on work with children. Applicants with experience working with children with special needs will receive priority consideration. Schedule This is a flexible, on-call position with opportunities during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Applicants must be available every other weekend.
