Job Description
Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Part Time Child Care Supportive Staff Members to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your energy, patience, and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences and support the overall well-being of children in our care. This position offers a flexible schedule perfect for individuals passionate about making a meaningful difference in young lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare. Duties Assist lead teachers and caregivers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including play, learning, and social interactions Provide attentive toddler and infant care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the day Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior among children Aid in supervising children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans when necessary Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive caregiving approach Help with light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and hygienic classroom environment Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom experience is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Demonstrated ability to work with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong skills in behavior management and creating inclusive environments for all children Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Ability to follow detailed safety guidelines and support caregiving routines effectively Join us to inspire young minds while developing your skills in early childhood education!
