Part-Time Weekend Nanny-Family Assistant Location:

Larchmont, NY We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, intuitive, and proactive Weekend Nanny-Family Assistant for a warm and busy family in Larchmont, NY. The family has a toddler and a baby, and both parents work from home and are actively involved in the children's care. The family values a collaborative, parent-led approach . The ideal candidate will respect and follow both parents' guidance and preferences, communicate concerns constructively, and be receptive to feedback. They are looking for someone who is warm, engaging, proactive, and genuinely enjoys interacting with young children. The toddler loves imaginative play and would thrive with someone creative who enjoys arts, crafts, drama, storytelling, puzzles, and other child-led activities. The family strongly prefers a Spanish-speaking candidate so the children can have regular exposure to Spanish. The family also has a sweet 30-pound dog .

Schedule:

Saturday-Sunday Approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Approximately 18 hours per week Start ASAP Live-Out Occasional pre-arranged overnights Occasional domestic and international travel

Key Responsibilities:

Provide warm, attentive care for a toddler and baby Engage the toddler in imaginative and child-led play Plan and participate in creative activities including arts, crafts, drama, and storytelling Feed the toddler and provide occasional bottle feeding for the baby Support the children's daily routines Complete children's laundry Wash and organize bottles and children's dishes Keep children's play areas and common areas tidy Assist with light household organization Help organize closets, pantry, toys, and other household spaces Run family errands as needed Drive for children's activities and family-related errands using your own reliable vehicle Work collaboratively with both parents while they are home Follow parental instructions and household preferences Communicate warmly, respectfully, and constructively Be receptive to feedback and direction Proactively anticipate the family's needs Provide occasional overnight care when pre-arranged Travel with the family as needed Be comfortable around the family's 30-pound dog

Qualifications:

Previous professional nanny or family assistant experience Infant and toddler experience required Warm, nurturing, playful, and engaging personality Creative and enthusiastic about imaginative play Comfortable working in a parent-led household Respectful and collaborative communication style Receptive to parental direction and constructive feedback Proactive, organized, and able to anticipate family needs Comfortable with childcare-related light housekeeping and organization Comfortable working alongside parents who work from home Spanish fluency strongly preferred Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification High school diploma or GED Comfortable with limited phone use while working Comfortable in a household that limits screen time Fragrance-conscious due to family allergies Willingness and ability to travel internationally is a strong plus Excellent long-term references that will be vetted

Compensation:
