After Care Counselors/Assistant Supervisor:

You should be able to provide competent supervision to a maximum of 10 students. Applicants need to arrive at work, de-brief about the day, collaborate with other staff, and follow the schedule provided by the supervisor. All staff are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of training within the first 6 months of hire. Training will be paid once certificates are turned in. After care staff need to complete all necessary OCFS hiring forms, be reliable, punctual, a team player, ability to follow a schedule, be flexible, and committed to enhancing the lives of the children and families we service. Assistant supervisor needs to create and implement schedules, have good communication skills, work collaboratively with others, plan ahead, problem solve, and consistently come to work on scheduled dates.

Qualifications:

Minimum hiring age is 18 with a High School Diploma and 2 years of experience working with school age children. Responsible, creative, fun, energetic, and ability to follow a schedule provided by your supervisor. Counselors and Assistant Supervisors must be able to work entire shifts.

PM Days:

Monday through Friday on the Nanuet Public School Calendar with a commitment for the remainder of the school year.
