A friendly, enthusiastic and highly involved family is seeking a dependable weekend nanny to support their home.
The Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday
•10:00 AM-7:00 PM 18 hours guaranteed Additional hours available for date nights or earlier starts/later finishes. The ideal is for at least one late night/overnight (Friday or Saturday) so that the parents can socialize with friends. Although this is a weekend role, should you have the capacity, there are additional hours available when their weekday nanny is unavailable or on vacation. This flexibility is welcomed but by no means expected.
Start Date:
October 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
The Child:
The role centers on the care of one delightful 14-month-old boy. He's active, as one would expect for toddlers, curious, and developmentally advanced, already demonstrating strong language skills and a love of music. He enjoys interactive play, books, songs, and spending time outdoors. He has a severe egg allergy, so being mindful of that is essential. The family live two blocks from Central Park, so the possibilities for fun are endless.

The Role:
This position is ideal for a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging toddlers through play, conversation, and exploration.
Responsibilities include:
Providing attentive and safety-focused care Narrating daily activities to encourage language development Reading, singing, and facilitating age-appropriate learning experiences Preparing simple meals and snacks for him Maintaining child-related kitchen and play areas Occasional overnight coverage on weekends Additional hours are available should candidates have experience with home organizing. The family need a refresh on home organization and tidying. The expectation is an initial project to decide and implement systems that work and then ongoing monthly or quarterly maintenance to keep it all in place.
The Travel:
There is no major travel expected. The family sometimes spend a couple of weeks in the Hamptons after Labor Day, so availability to accompany them there is welcomed but not compulsory.
