ASAP Position Overview A Brooklyn family is seeking an experienced, engaged part-time nanny to care for their two young boys, ages 7 months and 2.5 years. This is an afternoon and evening role covering the second half of the day — the busiest stretch in a household with two little ones. The family employs a full-time nanny, and the incoming part-time nanny will work alongside her in a collaborative, two-caregiver household. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, and comfortable managing both an infant and a toddler with confidence, whether solo or as part of a team. Strong communication and a genuinely collaborative attitude are essential. Benefits Guaranteed weekly hours W-2 payroll with legal pay Consistent, predictable schedule with some flexibility Long-term, stable position with an established household Responsibilities Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a 7-month-old and a 2.5-year-old Assist with school pickup for the older child, or care for the infant while the full-time nanny handles pickup Manage afternoon and evening routines including snacks, meals, bath time, and bedtime preparation Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, outdoor time, and play Handle children's laundry, bottle washing and prep, and tidying of children's spaces Maintain nap and feeding schedules and communicate clearly with parents and the full-time nanny Coordinate smoothly with the full-time nanny on daily handoffs and household routines Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, including infant experience Comfortable and experienced caring for two children simultaneously Comfortable navigating public transportation with young children Reliable, punctual, and able to commit long-term Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Legally authorized to work in the United States Must be able to provide 3-5 professional referencesBenefits
