In this role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across various classrooms and age groups, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child. Your enthusiasm and versatility will support our dedicated staff by stepping into different roles as needed, fostering positive developmental experiences for children from infancy through preschool age. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in early childhood education while making a lasting impact on young learners. Duties Assist in supervising children across multiple classrooms, including infant care, toddler care, and preschool settings Support classroom teachers with daily activities, including playtime, educational exercises, and mealtime routines Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and social-emotional growth Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper supervision and behavior management Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards Provide responsive caregiving tailored to individual needs, including working with children with disabilities or special education requirements Respond promptly to children's needs and foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and independence Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Familiarity with infant care routines, toddler care practices, and preschool curriculum activities Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and support multiple classrooms effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families Join us as a Child Care Floater where your energy fuels growth, your compassion nurtures development, and your flexibility ensures every child's experience is enriching.
