One infant, approximately 9 months old About the Position A dual physician family is seeking a dependable and engaging nanny to provide long-term care for their sweet 9-month-old son. They are hoping to find someone who truly enjoys the infant stage and will become a trusted part of their family as their little one grows. Their son is entering such a fun, active stage, and they would love a nanny who enjoys getting down on the floor to play, talking and reading with him, encouraging new milestones, and creating engaging days together. The family hopes to have another child in the future, making this a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to grow with a family long-term. Schedule Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, for 36 guaranteed hours per week. The schedule is generally consistent, with only occasional minor adjustments. Because of the early start, reliability and punctuality are important. Responsibilities The family's primary priority is excellent childcare.

Responsibilities include:

Providing warm, attentive infant care Planning age-appropriate play and activities Reading, talking, and engaging throughout the day Supporting developmental milestones as he becomes increasingly mobile Following established feeding and sleep routines Preparing bottles and age-appropriate meals Taking walks and eventually enjoying outings together Keeping bottles, toys, and child-related spaces tidy throughout the day There is no household laundry or extensive household responsibilities. The family wants their nanny's attention to remain focused on their son. The Perfect Fit The family would love someone who is nurturing, safety-minded, dependable, and genuinely enjoys being present and interactive with babies. They appreciate a caregiver who is comfortable taking initiative during the day while also communicating openly with parents. As trust and familiarity develop, the family is excited for their nanny to take their son on walks and age-appropriate outings and have plenty of opportunities to get out of the house together. A Few Household Details The family maintains a clean, shoe-free home and follows a few routines to help keep outside allergens to a minimum. They provide scrubs for the nanny to change into while working, making it easy to keep work and outside clothing separate. There are no pets in the home, and because of a family member's pet allergy, they ask that caregivers be mindful of pet hair when coming to work. Standard vaccinations, including Tdap/MMR and an annual flu vaccine, are requested.
