Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will engage in activities that promote learning and development while ensuring the well-being of each child. Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diaper changing, and comforting. Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Foster social skills through group activities and cooperative play. Document daily activities and milestones in each child's development. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong skills in teaching, caregiving, and behavior management. Experience with toddlers and infants is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers and staff members. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. A background in special education or experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
