This family is looking for a caregiver who brings genuine warmth and energy, stays fully present throughout the day, and naturally weaves learning into everyday moments rather than relying on screens or rigid structure. About the Role You'll be the primary daytime caregiver for two children, balancing hands on infant care with active, play based engagement for a toddler. This family values a caregiver who is confident managing two children at different stages, genuinely curious about who they are as individuals, and comfortable being the one steady, attentive presence in the home each day. Schedule Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Fridays as a half day. Occasional flexibility for an early morning or evening is a plus, though not a regular expectation. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaged care for a toddler and an infant throughout the day Plan and lead play based, developmentally appropriate activities Support healthy routines including naps, feeding, and daily rhythms for both children Drive children to activities such as the library and the park using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents throughout the day Keep shared spaces tidy and support light, child related household tasks What We're Looking For Professional childcare experience with both toddlers and infants A play based, interactive approach to learning and development Comfortable working independently and staying fully engaged without relying on a phone or screens A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record Comfortable working in a home with a dog Warm, reliable, and genuinely present with children throughout the day Compensation and Benefits $25 to $35 per hour based on experience Guaranteed pay 5 paid time off days annually 5 paid sick days annually Mileage reimbursement for errands and outings About Everly Nannies Everly Nannies is a boutique nanny placement agency built on 22 years of early childhood education experience.
