Fun and Energetic Nanny Needed For Two Sweet little boys in Cincinnati, OH (45227) A bright family of four located in New Richmond, OH (45157) is seeking a full-time nanny for their almost 6 years-old son and 2.5 years-old daughter. These two adorable children are both active, curious, affectionate, and bright, and they bring lots of energy and joy to their days. Their son attends a nearby half-day homeschool co-op twice a week, while their daughter enjoys a weekly gym class. One day each week, one of the children spends time away from home with their grandparents. The family has created a wonderful environment for learning and play, including a dedicated playroom, a separate building for indoor and outdoor activities, and several acres of land for the children to explore and enjoy. This role is ideal for someone who values education, openly communicates, and is proactive at coming up with fun educational activities and academic projects. A candidate who is compassionate, interactive, reliable, and active will fit right in. This individual's responsibilities will include all aspects of child-related tasks. One parent works from the home office and is willing to offer an interruption free environment for the nanny to practice and be engaged with their children. This family is seeking a nanny who can make a long-term commitment—ideally for the next several years—and will provide helpful educational materials to support the nanny in the role. A candidate who understands the principles of gentle parenting and who is patient will be a great fit for this position. Nanny's responsibilities include: Planning fun and educational activities for children, Partnering with parents to support their development, growth, and discipline, Playing outside, Pick up and drop off, Documenting their daily activities, including meals, diapers, and naps, Ensuring their safety at all times, Feeding, diapering, bathing, and following an age-appropriate nap schedule, Providing one-on-one care and fostering a trusting, emotional bond with children, Cleaning up after children, including washing cups, eating utensils, and toys, Keeping the children's play areas cleaned and tidy, Enforcing safe seatbelt use and public behavior, Teaching and modeling appropriate social behaviors, Some light housekeeping and children's Laundry (clothes and beddings).
REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year of paid childcare experience, CPR, and First Aid certification, Non-smoker (does not use tobacco of any kind including e-cigarettes). Authorized to work in the U.S, Reliable transportation, Valid driver's license, Car insurance, Must have a clean background check. Must be honest, responsible, proactive, reliable and punctual. Must have high attention to details, positive attitude and strong morals and character and must respect family values, Must have a good understanding of early childhood development, and what is developmentally appropriate for young children.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with teaching/Nanny experience or who studied Early Childhood Education are strongly encouraged to apply! Ability to communicate effectively with the parents and children, Ability to take and provide feedback, Ability to form a strong bond with the children and patiently play with them, and ability to respond to their emotional and physical needs in a timely manner.
LOCATION
New Richmond, OH (45157) Hourly rate: $25 to $30 per hour
DOE SCHEDULE
(Flexible): 40 hours guaranteed Monday through
Friday :
08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.
BENEFITS
14 days of PTO/Sick days per year, 7 Paid Holidays, Mileage reimbursement, 40 Guaranteed hours.
